Hackatao and the Austrian Post unveil their third phygital stamp collection – A layered descent into the architecture of the human psyche, dedicated to the revolutionary mind of Sigmund Freud.

This new 10,000-piece series: the Psyche Collection moves beyond the mundane and surface level shenanigans into the silent mechanisms that govern desire, fear, memory, and dreams. There are four personifications of Freud:

The Analyst, Thanatos, Eros and The Dreamer.

In a bid to not simply portray the father of psychoanalysis; the art deliberately enters the labyrinth he mapped, translating his most radical and clairvoyant propositions into symbolic, contemporary, artistic form.

Each stamp embodies a dimension of Freud’s inquiry:
the observer of the unconscious
the gravity of the death drive
the binding force of life instinct
the encrypted theatre of dreams

As with the previous collections, the tactile intimacy of fine art philately converges with blockchain permanence, creating a soulbound bridge between the physical stamp and digital eternity. Ownership becomes psychological – integrated, never detached – echoing Freud’s belief that what is revealed cannot be unseen.

The theories of the founder of psychoanalysis – exploring the unconscious, dreams, instincts and the human psyche – are interpreted in this edition through four motifs in Hackatao’s distinctive style:
