Guernsey Post is excited to announce the expansion of its Royal Golden Guernsey Goat herd with the arrival of two kid goats to the cyberstamp family, which launched last year.

The new cyberstamps, to be released on 16 July 2026, continue the story that began with Billy and Nanny, the iconic Royal Golden Guernsey Goats who featured on Guernsey Post’s debut cyberstamp issue. The latest release celebrates the arrival of two young kids, Billy the Kid and Nanny the Kid.

As with the inaugural issue, each limited-edition cyberstamp is valid for postage in Guernsey and unlocks a unique digital twin. Inspired by Guernsey’s heritage and culture, the digital collectibles feature a range of randomly assigned traits, accessories and characteristics that determine their rarity and make every goat unique.

The latest cyberstamps will be released on the second anniversary of the Royal Golden Guernsey Goat breed receiving its Royal title from King Charles III and Queen Camilla, during Their Majesties’ visit to Guernsey on 16 July 2024. The addition of the two kid goats reflects the continuing story of the herd and celebrates the next generation of one of the island’s most distinctive and cherished rare breeds.

Each Guernsey cyberstamp package includes:

  • One limited-edition cyberstamp featuring one of the new Royal Golden Guernsey Goat kids.
  • An exclusive souvenir sheet featuring the official postage stamps and a special cancellation mark.
  • Access to a unique digital goat collectible, activated by scanning the cyberstamp, with its own traits, rarity ranking and personalised story.

Bridget Yabsley, head of philatelic at Guernsey Post, said: – “Last year’s cyberstamp launch introduced collectors to Billy and Nanny and marked an exciting new chapter for Guernsey philately. We are delighted to continue that story with the arrival of two young kid goats, who represent the next generation of the Royal Golden Guernsey Goat herd.

“The combination of physical stamps and digital collectibles continues to offer collectors a truly unique experience, while celebrating a breed that is a key part of Guernsey’s heritage. We look forward to seeing collectors welcome these new arrivals to their herds.”
